Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she plays the role of drama instructor in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of existence, such as attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk was featured in many commercials as just a child. In 1997, she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Early theater work includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 to continue her acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple were married in the year 2009. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale. She announced the news to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk is working on Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was conceived on the 6th of January, 2013 on Twitter, announced her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an extensive online presence using social media.
