Zulay Shenao was born in Colombia and is an American-born Colombian actor. Her most famous performance was in the role of Esperanza in her role in the Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If the love you have for someone isn't wrong'. She also has been in a variety of films, including Illegal Tender and 'Takers', Boy Wonder,' and True Memoirs of an International Assassin. Her family relocated to the USA with her when she was four years old. Henao was a student at Methodist College at Fort Bragg in North Carolina while serving three years with the U.S. Army.
